Ozzy Osbourne hopes to record "one more album"
Osbourne plans to record his final album next year.
Former Black Sabbath frontman, Ozzy Osbourne, revealed in a recent interview that he is currently working on his last album.
He hopes to record the next album in 2024 before going on tour again: “I’ve done two albums fairly recently, but I want to do one more album and then go back on the road."
"I’m just starting to work on it now, and we’ll be recording in the early part of next year,” he added.
Fans may have to wait a bit for the completed album as reportedly, the musician wants "to take [his] time with this one!”
The 74-year-old also opened up about his recovery in the interview: “I’m feeling okay – it was just dragging on. I thought I’d be back on my feet months ago, I just couldn’t get used to this mode of living, constantly having something wrong. I can’t walk properly yet, but I’m not in any pain any more and the surgery on my spine went great.”
This comes after the rockstar underwent his “final” neck surgery earlier this month after a fall he suffered in 2019. The fall dislodged metal rods that were put into his body after a quad bike crash in 2003. He was also diagnosed with Parkinson’s in early 2020.
Osbourne announced his retirement from touring back in February but luckily for fans, he is hoping to perform once again after releasing the next album.
