Overhead, The Albatross release video for new single 'Time'
The Dublin-based band have released the video of their emotional, rousing cover of "Time" by Hans Zimmer featuring Charlie Chaplin's final speech from The Great Dictator.
The video was posted on the band's Facebook at 3pm this afternoon.
Overhead, The Albtross released their debut album Learning to Growl back in May and have spent the summer blazing a trail on the festival circuit.
Featuring a continuous, circulatory shot of the band making their music alongside screens featuring Charlie Chaplin delivering his iconic speech, 'Time' gives us all of Overhead, The Ablatross' unique, atmopsheric post-rock, with the added layer of Chaplin's poignant words, which feel all the more relevant following recent global events.
The single release comes as the band prepare to take on Vicar St, Dublin on December 9 for one of their biggest ever gigs. Tickets for the gig are available at ticketmaster.ie .
