Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark announce Dublin show
Tickets will go on sale Friday, November 14.
Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) have announced a Dublin date as part of the Trinity Summer Series at Trinity College Dublin on July 4, 2026.
They will be joined by English singer-songwriter Andrew Cushin, who opened for Noel Gallagher in 2024.
Formed in Wirral, England, OMD are known for combining synth-pop with experimental soundscapes on albums such as Organisation in 1980, Architecture and Morality in 1981 and Dazzle Ships in 1983.
The band achieved US success in 1986 with ‘If You Leave,’ featured on the Pretty in Pink soundtrack.
Following their 40th anniversary, OMD released Bauhaus Staircase in 2023, their first studio album since 2017’s The Punishment of Luxury. The record was described by the group as their most politically driven work to date.
They last performed in Dublin at the 3Arena on February 28, 2024.
Tickets for OMD’s Dublin show will go on sale Friday, November 14.
