O.R.B top the Irish Indie Chart
The Dublin hip hop trio reach the summit at the first week of asking.
It's been a week of big shake-ups in the indie chart with a slew of new entries. Most remarkable of all though has to be recent Hot Press cover-stars O.R.B (formerly Original Rudeboys) storming their way right to No.1 position with their latest full length All We Are.
O.R.B's success means that last week's chart toppers, indie icons Pixies, move into second place. In a similar fashion, country star Nathan Carter's The Wagon Wheel Show – Live is down a spot to No. 3.
Other noteworthy new entries in the Top 10 include Southend-On-Sea quintet The Horrors. Their latest collection, Luminous, debuts at No. 6.
Welsh eccentric and Super Furry Animals frontman Gruff Rhys also makes an impression with his first week on the chart as his latest solo LP, American Interior, debuts at No. 9.
All in all, a big week for new releases and it's of course always a pleasure to see an Irish act sitting on top of the heap.
