Niall McNamee's now-out 6-track EP Love Without Walls experiments with different musical styles to explore the emotional and adversarial journey of the film's couple

With the release of the award-winning, Jane Gull directed Love Without Walls, the ingenious singer-songwriter in charge of composing the feature film's soundtrack, Niall McNamee, has shared the music across streaming platforms.

Recorded in Belfast and titled Love Without Walls after its film, the EP came out earlier this month on June 9th. After, it was announced over social media with the exclamation "BIG DAY."

"Go and listen, share and SHOUT about it online," Niall encouraged. "To your friends, your family and (feck it) your enemies!!!"

The film Love Without Walls follows a musician and his wife through financial struggle and homelessness, showcasing the strength they find from their relationship to persevere through it. The musician, Paul, is also played by Niall McNamee while the wife, Sophie, is played by Shana Swash.

McNamee's 6-track EP experiments with different musical styles such as folk and acoustic to emphasise and reflect the couple's intense and emotional story. Tracks like 'China In A Box' and 'Love Without Walls' even incorporate piano ballads.

The soundtrack for the Manchester Film Festival and London Independent Film Festival 'Best Feature' winning film is not the Irish singer-songwriter's first collection to be released - after debuting on the music scene in 2020 with 'Fishpond,' Niall quickly went on to release the 2021 EP Step By Step.

Now, having collaborated with the likes of the renowned Imelda May on 'Don't Let Me Stand On My Own' and having sold out a UK and Ireland tour, Love Without Walls marks the next successful and phenomenal step of Niall's musical journey.
