New Daithí O' Dronaí song and EP details

Galway-based fiddle maestro Daithí O' Dronaí has released a new song 'Sleep Like A Stone' from his upcoming seven-track EP The Embrace, out next Monday February 21 and available for €5 on his bandcamp site here.

The HP Hot for 2011 pick has also released an extremely Animal Collective-esque video for the track directed by Brendan Canty & Conal Thomson, which you can see below, which features O'Dronaí's patented blend of fiddle loops, heavy beats and twinkling electronics.

The 'Must Be The Music' finalist is also hitting the road in the next month, starting off in hometown Galway at Roisin Dubh (February 25) before playing the Workmans Club in Dublin (February 26), Spirit Store, Dundalk (March 3) and finally, the Pavillion, Cork (March 6). O'Dronaí will also make an appearance on RTÉ 2's 'Other Voices' on March 9.
