New additions to the Body & Soul Solstice
Among the bands added to the line-up for the gathering at Ballinlough Castle in Co. Westmeath include Broken Records, R.S.A.G., Wiggle and Patrick Kelleher
Described by many as the British Arcade Fire, Broken Records are noted for their intense live show and accomplished musicianship. Very few will be strangers to Kilkenny's bravest knight, RSAG AKA Geramy Hicky who has single handedly has rocked out almost every venue in Ireland since releasing his debut album, Organic Sampler, while Cork's best Electro/Dub Step combo Wiggle may not be so well known to all, but will definitely get the festival feeling going at Ballinlough.
Patrick Kelleher's well received electro-folk musings will be a treat as the adapt to a new outdoor setting while anyone who has experienced the slow burning magic of Katie Kim's debut album '12' will be blown away about how she fills out these tunes with digital echoes, layers of samples and a voice which takes on an entirely ethereal other dimension live.
There will be more acts announced next week. For ticket info and pricing check out [link]www.bodyandsoul.ie[/link].
