Nas brings his Illmatic 30th Anniversary Tour to 3Olympia this November
The anniversary is also commemorated with the release of the new track ‘Define My Name’.
Rap icon Nas has announced a Europe and UK tour in celebration of his record Illmatic’s 30th anniversary. It will bring him to Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre on November 14.
Widely regarded as one of the most influential hip hop albums of all time, Nas’s debut LP will be performed in full for the show.
The rapper is also commemorating the record’s 30th anniversary by releasing the new track ‘Define My Name’, produced by DJ Premier.

The RIAA platinum LP Illmatic features a number of renowned tunes including ‘N.Y State of Mind’, ‘Halftime’, ‘The World Is Yours’ and ‘It Ain’t Hard to Tell’. It paints a vivid picture of what it meant to grow up in New York in the 90’s
The announcement follows Nas’ Electric Picnic set on the Electric Arena stage, with Hot Press commenting that the show proved that “Nas is an absolute hip-hop legend, who has nothing to prove to anyone anymore, and yet still does it every time.”
Tickets for Nas’ November 3Olympia show will be available from this Friday August 23 here.
