Musicians are invited to apply for Vantastival 2018
Musicians are now invited to apply for a slot at the 2018 Vantastival festival.
The festival is in its ninth year of "providing lovers of the campervan lifestyle to really make the most of having their vans at a festival" and showcasing the best of Irish music.
Vantastival 2018 will take place at Beaulieu House over the June bank holiday weekend (1st-3rd), on the sloping banks of the river Boyne just outside Drogheda.
Original acts of all genres as well as traditional groups should fill in the online application form here.
Musicians must provide a link where the judging panel can listen to a minimum of three original tracks. The deadline for receipt of applications is 5pm on Friday 15th December 2017.
The three day event is expected to return with its usual "fantastically diverse line up, super-friendly vibes, and quirky extras".
Last year saw attractions including gourmet food stalls, festival traders, scheduled kids’ activities, arts and crafts.
With campervans welcome to park on site for free and a ‘Bring Your Own Booze’ policy, Vantastival is one of the most affordable festivals in Ireland.
