Muse for Oxegen
Muse have given away the fact that they’re among the Saturday night headliners at this year’s Oxegen festival.
Asked whether they’re in-line to play at one of the Al Gore-backed Live Earth concerts on Saturday July 7th, Matt Bellamy says: "We've been asked, yes. I think it'll happen in seven continents around the world, all within 24 hours.
“There's an issue. We've got a gig that same day in Ireland, so we need to work out if we can make it or not, that's basically what it depends on."
As for the possibility of Muse ‘doing a Phil Collins’ and being airlifted to the Wembley Stadium leg of the Global Warming awareness bash, Bellamy laughs: "Private jets for climate change? Not sure about that! That seems a bit on the edge to me. That's actually the issue to be honest, so we need to think about it."
