Motorhead for Irish Tour
Woooaaarrrrrrgh! is declared in November when Motorhead embark on their first Irish tour in an aeon.
Kicking off in Belfast's Ulster Hall (3), the trek then descends on the Olympia, Dublin (4); South, Waterford (5); and the INEC, Killarney (6).
It's shaping up to be an extremely good year for Lemmy with the bewarted one appearing on Dave Grohl's Probot album and supplying backing vocals for the Young Heart Attack cover of AC/DC's 'Get It Hot' which graces the flip of their new single, 'Tommy Shots'.
"Lemmy's one of the most intelligent people I've ever met," Grohl enthuses. "To stand there listening to playback with him singing in my ear, I was like 'Is this really happening?' He sang it twice and just stood there with the paper. Then he played bass, maybe two takes and it was done. And after he was like, 'Who wants to go look at some tits?' He's a great man."
