Moonlight: The Philip Lynott Enigma to return to Vicar Street in June
The rock / theatre production will return on June 11 and 12.
Following on from its debut tour of Ireland, Moonlight: The Philip Lynott Enigma is set to return to Dublin’s Vicar Street next June 11 and 12.
Created by John Merrigan and Danielle Morgan, the expansive rock / theatre production explores the early life of Thin Lizzy star Philip Lynott who rose from the streets of Dublin to influence a generation of musicians. The production covers the period in the late '60s and '70s when Dublin and London were dynamic melting pots of musical innovation.
The show is complete with all the Thin Lizzy hits, as well as new original music performed by the live band on stage.

Under the direction of Jason Figgis, Peter M. Smith plays Lynott, supported by a great cast and live band. The honour piece aims to tell the less well-known side of Lynott’s story in an honest and powerful way.
On the show’s initial run of dates in Vicar Street earlier this year, Hot Press wrote that the show was “striking a balance between honesty and honour in cracking The Philip Lynott Enigma.”
