Metallica to play the RDS next June

Newsflash!! "Dublin, we love, see you next year!" was Lars Ulrich's parting shot in August when Metallica left the RDS stage and, sure enough, they're returning to the Dublin venue on June 25 2004.

Gates open at 3pm with tickets on sale on Friday December 19 priced €60 and €63.50.

Given all the inter-promoter rivalry that's going on at the moment, it's interesting to note that the Bay Area thrashers are once again being promoted by Aiken and the PoD, but not the other partners in August's Summer Sanitarium show, the Mean Fiddler, who've now linked up with MCD.
