Mark Lanegan for twin Irish dates in August

The former Screaming Trees singer and sometime Queen of the Stone Age will return to Irish shores for the second time in a year.

He will perform at The Roisin Dubh in Galway on August 24 and The Academy in Dublin on August 25. This is Lanegan’s first solo tour in five years and with his previous Galway and Dublin shows in April having quickly sold out, tickets are sure to be in high demand.

Tickets for The Academy show are €24 and are on sale now.

He has a new album due out in late 2010 so expect his shows to focus on his solo material, both new and from 2004’s Bubblegum.
