Marie-Thérèse releases Prince cover track ‘Strange Relationship’

Dublin artist Marie-Thérèse is gearing up to release a stunning new version of Prince’s iconic track ‘Strange Relationship’. With a release date of June 7th, Marie-Thérèse’s new single pays homage to the legendary performer and musician on what would have been his 66th birthday.

“To quote Joni [Mitchell]- 'I could drink a case of Prince everyday and still be on my feet’ … every hour of every day,” said Marie-Thérèse. 'Strange Relationship' is my way of giving a little thanks back to Prince on his birthday. I hope he’s listening.”

The cover comes as a follow-up to Marie-Thérèse’s critically acclaimed releases ‘Luna’ and ‘Saint Mary’, which cemented the young singer as an artist to watch on the Dublin music scene.

Marie-Thérèse is currently gearing up for the announcement of her next original release, which is due out this summer.
