Marianne Faithfull heads to Vicar St
Expect the ‘house full’ signs to go up early on October 23 when the extremely wonderful Marianne Faithfull plays a rare Dublin headliner in Vicar St.
Discovered – in more ways than one – in the ‘60s by the Rolling Stones, Faithfull’s stop-start musical career has produced such classic moments as ‘As Tears Go By’, ‘The Ballad Of Lucy Jordan’, ‘Running For Our Lives’ and ‘Broken English’.
Most recently, she collaborated with Damon Albarn, Nick Cave and Polly Harvey on 2004’s Before The Poison collection.
Tickets priced €38.50 are on sale now.
