Mahalia Announces Dublin Gig

Mahalia Burkmar, better known by the stage name Mahalia, has released numerous singles since her 2016 LP, Diary of Me.

The English singer, song-writer and actress will play The Grand Social on the 19th of October to kick off her European tour. Tickets go on sale for €16 on Wednesday 22nd August at 9AM.

The British singer has over one million monthly listeners on Spotify, with her 2017 single ‘Sober’ reaching over 8.5 million listens.

Mahalia admits: “I want my music to feel like a diary of my teenage years. Some of the songs I write might seem as though they’re about romantic love, but I write about friendships, family, bullying. Not all songs are what they seem. The one thing I want people to take from my music is a sense of honesty."
