Madonna cancels Paris gig following injury

Madonna cancelled her show in Paris on Sunday night due to injuries sustained in a stage fall last week.
The gig at Le Grand Rex is the third Parisian show on the Madame X Tour to be axed. The pop star was also forced to cancel three performances in Boston and postpone a New York gig due to injury late last year. In total, she's cancelled 14 performances on the tour.
Her injuries were sustained at a show last Thursday after a chair was pulled out from underneath her by mistake. She continued to perform that night and took the stage once again on Saturday, but she wrote on Instagram that she had only barely made it through the performance.
She wrote: "Today even I can see that this broken toll held together with tape and glue, needs to stay in bed and rest for a few days so she can finish the tour with a smile on her face and in one piece."
Her run at Le Grand Rex is still set to continue on March 3, with five additional dates afterward.
