Lloyd Cole Announces Concert At Vicar Street
Tickets for Lloyd Cole's show go on sale this Friday.
Lloyd Cole will be playing at Vicar Street on October 30 following the release of his new album, Guesswork.
The English singer and songwriter, who rose to prominence in the '80s as the lead singer of The Commotions, is set to release the 8-track album on July 26, following up his critically acclaimed 2013 album Standards.
“For a while, it wasn’t clear if the project would ever come to fruition," said Cole in a press statement. "I’ve been an electronic music fan since hearing Fripp and Eno’s No Pussyfooting when I was thirteen, Bowie’s Low and Iggy’s The Idiot at sixteen and then on to Kraftwerk… Eventually I had to make this record, but for several years mulling the idea the task seemed too much for me to take on alone. Finally I had to. And then I got help.”
Tickets for Cole's upcoming show at Vicar Street will go on sale March 8 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster and cost €29.00.
