Live Senegalese hip hop in Dublin
Lovers of musical exotica will want to be at the Dublin Hub on March 3 when Senegalese hip hop trio Daara J make their Irish debut.
The winners of the 2004 BBC World Music Award, the trio will be plugging their Boomrang album which features contributions from Mali's Rokia Traore, Cuban maverick Sergent Garcia and French MC Disiz.
"Daara J means 'school of life', and with every production we want to give an education to our listeners," explains founder member Alhadji Man.
