Live Review: Aaron Nolan @ Forbidden Fruit 2016
Dublin native Aaron Nolan is the picture of ease as he begins the festivities on the Undergrowth Stage this afternoon. The UCD student and Pygmalion regular lights up a cigarette midway through his electronic set, and he DJs with finesse throughout the extended performance.
An impressive audio-visual backdrop and lighting show distract from the fact that Nolan is perhaps better suited to playing night-time clubs rather than afternoon tents, despite his cool demeanour. Impressively, he manages to capture a dancing crowd despite the early afternoon time slot, and he brings the day’s electronic performances off to a flying start.
