Live Report: The Adventures, Paul Carrack, and Marti Pellow kick off the Forever Young Festival 2022
The first day of the Forever Young Festival in Kildare features '80s rockstars Paul Carrack, The Adventures, and headliner Marti Pello.
The Forever Young Festival is kicking off this Friday evening, instantly transporting us back to the ‘80s with some of the biggest artists of the time performing this weekend. The sun is blaring down on Kildare as we prepare for tonights exciting lineup, which includes The Adventures, Paul Carrack, and headliner Marti Pellow.
The doors have opened and the people dressed in '80s apparel are beginning to flood in to get a good spot for the first act, The Adventures. Most arrived with their own folding chairs, and set up to sit back and enjoy the show. Upbeat music is playing on the speakers, from the '80s of course, to hype up the crowd and hold them over until the show begins. The audience can be heard singing along to 'Come On Eileen' by Dexy's Midnight Rollers.
