Listen: Aphex Twin shares new song "Korg Funk 5"
The new track features the artist's son on vocals.
Not too long after his blistering set at Forbidden Fruit, Aphex Twin has shared a new song. The track also features Richard D.James' own son taking over the glitchy vocal duties.
"Korg Funk 5" is a kinetic, old school bop that sounds like a love letter to an instrument that is a building block of electronic music: The Korg Synthesizer. James has so much respect for the equipment that he also released an interview with former Korg engineer Tatsuya Takahashi on his website.
Last year, the IDM artist allowed a 12 year old boy form Dublin to direct his music video for Cirklon3.
