Tickets are on sale and can be purchased below.
Hosts Jerry Fish and MayKay have announced the line-up for Hi, How Are You Day! 2026, which is coming to The Grand Social in Dublin on January 25.
Joining the hosts, the celebration will feature performances from SexyTadhg, Crayfish, John Byrne, Andy Wilson, Child of Prague, Luan James Geary, Cat Dowling, and more.
The night will centre around the music, life, and legacy of the late Daniel Johnston, who passed away in 2019 due to a heart attack.
Johnston was an American artist, musician, and singer known for his unique music, which consisted mostly of cassettes that he recorded alone in his home.
Proceeds from the gig will go to the Irish Youth Foundation and the Hi, How Are You Project.
Inspired by Daniel Johnston, who was open about his struggles with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, the Hi, How Are You Project encourages conversations about positive mental health and well-being.
Since 2020, Jerry Fish has co-hosted Dublin's annual Hi, How Are You Day, celebrating Johnston's work as an artist and musician.
In 2024, Jerry Fish and MayKay released an album, Dreaming of Daniel, inspired by Johnston's work and their performances at these concerts. The album, which features covers of 13 Daniel Johnston songs, scored a nine-star review in Hot Press.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here.
