LimROCK Against Racism: Emma Langford and more announced for charity gig
The event will take place at Pharmacia on September 27 at 8pm
Limerick Anti-Racism Network, Wombat Promotions and Tangents Podcast have announced charity event LimROCK Against Racism in support of the people of Palestine and Nigeria.
Performers include folk artist Emma Langford, and Limerick punk-rock band 50 Foot Woman.
Though the event is free of charge, attendees are encouraged to donate towards Palestinian Tamar Nijim's GoFundMe and the Family of Anu Okusanya, who was killed in Newry due to gang violence.
Donation boxes will be set up in the venue, with QR codes to scan for virtual donation.
The event is collaborated by Limerick Against Fascism, who have been vocal on social media against anti-immigration group 'Limerick Says No', and avid of their support of the people of Palestine and LGBTQ+ freedoms.
Inside the venue there will be two performance stages, with solo artists playing at the front bar and bands performing upstairs.
