Kneecap pull out of South By Southwest visit

Kneecap have tonight announced that they won't be appearing at the South By Southwest showcase festival that is running from March 11-16 in Austin, Texas.

Following on from their successful appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the Belfast trio were meant to be playing three shows and plugging their self-titled film at SXSW, but have issued the following statement:

They join a growing number of acts who've pulled out in protest at the US Army being one of South By Southwest's 'Super Sponsors'. On a happier note, here are the guys doing their thing on Jimmy Fallon:
