Cover stars for the latest issue of Hot Press, Kings of Leon now find themselves top of the Irish Albums Chart with their seventh LP Walls
Despite having received lukewarm reviews since its release, Walls sailed to the top of the charts on its first week, replacing Green Day's new album Revolutionary Radio. Preceded by its single 'Waste a Moment', Walls went on general release last Friday.
A week of success for new releases also saw two Irish acts muscle into the Top 3. Bell X1's new album Arms comes in at number 2 while Cork singer Mick Flannery comes in at third with his new release I Own You.
Irish artists rank elsewhere in the charts. Jack O'Rourke's stunning debut album Dreamcatcher comes in at fifth, while Bangor boys Two Door Cinema Club come in at tenth with their long-awaited third album Gameshow.
