Kingfishr release new single 'Gloria'
Tickets for Kingfishr's newly added 3Arena show on December 18 are available now, starting from €69.45.
Kingfishr have released their new single 'Gloria'.
Written by the band and produced by David Curley, 'Gloria' showcases the Limerick-based trio's signature blend of anthemic indie folk and the Irish traditional sound.
Eddie Keogh’s gritty baritone voice drives the track, layered over Eoin 'Fitz' Fitzgibbon’s bass and Eoghan 'McGoo' McGrath’s banjo, infusing an atmosphere of sorrow and melancholy with a sense of hope.
"'Gloria' is about giving in to the pressures around you, and whether you can live with yourself for doing it," said Keogh. "The song represents a yearning to break free."
Due to high demand, the band have added a second headline show at 3Arena on Thursday, December 18, 2025 – the night before their previously announced show on Friday, December 19.
Kingfishr will commence their sold-out debut North American tour later this month, followed by their first European headline run in May.
The indie-folk trio's only full-length release so far, 2024's Live From Dublin, hit No. 1 on the Irish Independent Chart. They also won a Music Moves Europe Award earlier this year and were nominated for Irish Breakthrough Artist at the RTÉ Choice Music Prize.
Tickets for Kingfishr's upcoming Dublin show on December 18 are available now, starting from €69.45. For more information, click here.
