Kendrick Lamar and Paul McCartney to headline Glastonbury 2022
Fontaines D.C. Inhaler, Bicep, Róisín Murphy and Joy Crookes are among those flying the Irish flag at Worthy Farm!
Having had their plans scuppered two years in a row by Covid, Glastonbury blasts back from June 22-26 with Paul McCartney headlining the Pyramid Stage on Saturday and festival debutante taking care of the Sunday honours.
Flying the Irish flag are Fontaines D.C. Inhaler, Bicep, Róisín Murphy, Joy Crookes, Idles (well, one of them) and The Waterboys (Mike Scott is a Dublin resident, so we're claiming him!!!)
And, as somebody just pointed out to us on Twitter, there's plenty of Irish blood in Macca and Billie Eilish too!
As you can see from the poster, it's one hell of a line-up with Glasto making good on their promise to make sure the bill is gender balanced.
Further acts will be announced in May should you be in need of further persuasion!
