Kate Rusby announces Irish tour dates

English folk singer Kate Rusby has announced three Irish shows at the end of this month and the start of November.

One of the finest interpreters of traditional folk song and one of the UK's most emotive songwriters, Kate Rusby is notable for melding old and new in folk music in order to create something entirely original.

Kate has been nominated for the Mercury Prize, as well as having received awards for Folk Singer of the Year, Best Live Act, Best Album and Best Original Song at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.

On the brink of her quarter century of music making, Kate Rusby released her 14th studio album Life in a Paper Boat earlier this month to rave reviews.

Octover 30 - Belfast Opera House
October 31 - Limerick, University Concert Hall
November 1 - Dublin National Concert Hall
