Kate Bush tickets sell out in under fifteen minutes
Singer 'completely overwhelmed'
Tickets for Kate Bush's forthcoming tour have sold out in less than 15 minutes.
The singer, who added a further seven shows at the Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith this week, will now be playing (and selling out) 22 gigs in all.
The tickets went on general sale this morning at 9.30am, limited to four per person.
Bush, who has not played live in 35 years, said: “I’m completely overwhelmed by the response to the shows. Thank you so much to everyone. Looking forward to seeing you all later this year”
This new series of dates came as a surprise to many, as Bush has toured only once, in 1979. Back then she combined music, dance, poetry, mime, burlesque, magic and theatre.
Further details regarding her 2014 tour are not yet known. But it will no doubt be extraordinary.
