Kasabian announce Dublin show
The announcement comes just before the release of their latest single, ‘Release the Pressure’.
Kasabian have announced a Dublin show at Fairview Park on June 16.
“Dublin, this one is going to be absolutely massive,” said the band in a post announcing the show.
The announcement comes just before the release of Kasabian’s new song, ‘Release the Pressure’, a collaboration with Scottish DJ and producer Calvin Harris, which will be out on Friday.
Known for their award-winning live performances, the band’s most recent Dublin show was at the 3Arena in November of 2024, following the release of their latest album, Happenings, where the Leicester-formed band delivered an “earth-shattering, frenetic gig.”
“The live show has always been the lifeblood of music,” said frontman Serge Pizzorno in 2024. “[Y]ou give it to the world and everyone experiences it together – that’s what makes music so amazing and profound. It is essential that there are places we can all meet together, even if it’s just for that night. It’s primal and it’s kind of where we came from.”
Supporting acts have yet to be announced.
Tickets are €59.90, and go live Friday, February 6, Kasabian’s next album, 9 – ACT III, is set to be released this summer. The band are also set to perform at the TRNSMT festival in Glasgow on June 20.
