Jacob Alon announces Button Factory gig
Tickets will go on sale this Friday, February 6.
Scottish folk singer-songwriter Jacob Alon has announced a headline Dublin show, set to take place at the Button Factory on April 15.
Alon released their debut album In Limerence in May of last year, earning a place on Hot Press' Best 30 Folk Albums of 2025 list. The album was produced by Dan Carey, known for his collaborations with Kneecap, Grian Chatten, and Fontaines D.C. A few months after the release, Alon also shared a 5-track EP the alon salon, featuring live performances of songs from the album.
Both the EP and album were preceded by singles like 'Fairy In a Bottle, 'Confession', and 'Liquid Gold 25', released at the the end of 2024 and beginning of 2025.
This year, Alon won the BRITs Critics' Choice Award. They will perform at the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh as part of BRITs Week 2026, in collaboration with War Child later this month.
