It's spy vs. spy in the trailer for The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
Guy Ritchie's latest looks like a blast
Kingsman: The Secret Service recently proved that spy movies can be charming and funny in a way that their main ambassador, Mr. James Bond, won't really allow these days. The Man From U.N.C.L.E. looks to continue in that vein with a pulpy, action-packed trailer that finds Henry Cavill's suave CIA agent working with (and facing off against) his more coarse KGB counterpart, played by Armie Hammer.
The film is based on an American television series from the 60s and is appropriately set in that time period. The story will see its two leads working together to prevent nuclear catastrophe. Ahhh, what a time...
Director Guy Ritchie is well suited to the material, known for directing action and comedy with flair as seen in films like the most recent Sherlock Holmes pictures and RocknRolla.
Look for the movie in theaters August 14!
