Drogheda Singing Gathering is planning what it hopes will be Ireland's largest gathering of traditional singers, from February 8 - 10.

The Singing Gathering is about "celebrating the songs of our heritage and the generations of singers who passed them down." Over the weekend, a host of informal, intimate singing sessions will take place in the town's Droichead Arts Centre, as well as various other unique locations, like historical landamarks, old pubs, and cellars throughout the area.
