Inhaler debut at No.1 on Irish Albums Chart with Open Wide
The group beats Taylor Swift for No.1 on the chart race.
Inhaler's third album Open Wide is officially No.1 on the Irish Albums Charts, beating Taylor Swift to the top spot.
The rock band from Dublin faced competition Kendrick Lamar's GNX, who sits at No. 3 even after his famous Half-time Super Bowl performance last week, Noah Kahan's Stick Season at 4, and Sabrina Carpenter's Short n' Sweet taking up spot No. 5.
It marks Inhaler's third Irish No.1, following their debut album It Won't Always Be Like This', and their sophomore Cuts & Bruises.
Taylor Swift, who sits in second, recently released a reissue of Lover (Live From Paris), following high demand after the original release in 2023 as a limited edition vinyl. The new version dropped shortly before Valentine's Day and features a double heart-shaped vinyl. Her last album The Tortured Poets Department spent 10 weeks at No.1.
Inhaler are also cover stars in the upcoming issue of Hot Press. The four-piece share their thoughts on Harry Styles, Alex Turner, Oasis, Bob Dylan, love affairs, Elon Musk and the Dublin riots, as part of a wide-ranging interview with Stuart Clark.
