Hozier to perform on Saturday Night Live

He's done the Ellen and Letterman thing – and talked about it in the current issue of Hot Press – and next month Andrew Hozier-Byrne's campaign to conquer the US takes another major step forward.
The Bray man, whose debut album drops tomorrow, will follow in the footsteps of the likes of U2, Arcade Fire and, well, anyone who's anyone, in performing on Saturday Night Live.
He will play 'Take Me To Church' on the revered comedy institution on October 11. It's a good time to be on too – with the brilliantly funny and much-loved former SNL cast member Bill Hader on hosting duties, there's sure to be plenty of interest in that particular show.
In the current issue of Hot Press – with the man himself on the cover – Hozier opens up to Olaf Tyaransen about his upbringing, decision to pursue music full-time, his controversial 'Take Me To Church' video and his adventures in the US thus far.
