Forming through their shared love of Garbage, The Cranberries and all things Riot Grrrl, the Leeds quintet’s Hot For 2024 qualification comes via singer Grace Kelly – yep, that’s her real name – being from Ireland. Never one to pull her punky punches, their ‘Lidocaine’ single was written by GK while she was battling leukaemia. With the likes of Steve Lamacq and Jack Saunders raving about it and follow-up releases ‘Liar Liar’ and ‘Hex’, indie stardom seems assured.
