Lemonade Shoelace
Rolling off the BIMM Dublin conveyor-belt of talent last year was Ruairí Richman, a young Co. Down gun whose kaleidoscopic pop is redolent of Flaming Lips, MGMT and Pet Shop Boys. Part of the same Grammy award-winning BDi Music publishing stable as Amy Wadge and Ailbhe Reddy, his recent ‘Soul Syndrome’ single should have been all over daytime radio like a rash.
Hear: The lysergic-drenched ‘Hopscotch In The Sky’.
Watch: Belfast filmmaker Dylan Wright’s trippy video for ‘Soul Syndrome’.
