Benjamin Amos

Long-time readers of Hot Press will of course recall Amos for his time in the should’ve-been-massive bands the Good Fight and Sullivan & Gold. Now he’s flying solo, and delivered a late contender for one of the albums of the year back in December, with the stunning Letters. Steeped in Americana and folk influences, the opus was the product of eight years of graft and his hard work paid off handsomely. A cathartic, confessional offering that leaves little doubt of his considerable talents, we can’t wait to witness this talented troubadour – who has just returned back home to the north coast – live in 2023.
