Twenty-nine-year-old producer and musician David Balfe has exploded onto the Irish scene recently with achingly vulnerable songs that powerfully portray the struggles he faced growing up. His For Those I Love persona documents a working class Irish upbringing on singles ‘Top Scheme’ and ‘I Have A Love’ – which led to a memorable Later...with Jools Holland performance. A future star.
