Hot for 2020 Events: 10 of the Best Gigs for 2020
2020 promises to kick the new decade off in style with another cracking year for live music in Ireland.
With more live music than ever happening outdoors – in locations with greater capacities – the summer months are set to come alive in an extraordinary way. We’re looking forward to seeing Stormzy storm the 3Arena; soul supreme superstar Diana Ross bring endless love to Cork and Dublin; Lewis Capaldi liven up the Irish Independent Park in Cork and Malahide Castle; and Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer team up for what may just be the rock show of the summer at the RDS. We’re also eagerly awaiting news on a headliner for this summer’s concert at Slane. Rumours are evenly split between rock legends AC/DC and a miraculous reunion for the Gallagher brothers and Oasis. And don’t rule out a return from a certain Mr. Springsteen to our shores for another outdoor spectacular.
