Hermitage Green debuted in 2012, releasing their first four-song EP, The Gathering. The following records, 2016's Save Your Soul and 2021's Hi Generation, which landed at no.3 and no.21 on the Irish charts respectively.
Hermitage Green’s latest album Connection was released in September 2024, with the band embracing a new electro-influenced direction.
“We’ve obviously been around for a long time and done what, I suppose, people might expect of us," they told Hot Press last year. "so we just decided to push the boat out and push ourselves. It’s been really enjoyable. To be honest, whatever happens with the album, we love it.”
The group are also set to play a double New Year’s Eve show in Limerick’s Dolan's Warehouse on December 31, at 3pm and 8:30pm. They are also playing a show at King John’s Castle, Limerick on May 3, 2026. Tickets for those shows are still available.
Tickets for Hermitage Green’s Whelan’s show will go on sale Friday, December 12 at 10am.
