Here's everything you need to know ahead of LYRA's sold out Ballykeeffe Amphitheatre shows this weekend
The singer, songwriter and multi instrumentalist is billed to take on the open-air Italian inspired theatre this weekend.
Cork pop diva LYRA is billed to play two major sold out gig at Ballykeeffe Amphitheatre Kilkenny, nestled at the foot of the old Ballykeeffe Quarry.
The artist's Friday and Saturday shows will take place on July 26 and 27.
Ahead of the performance, patrons have been asked to note that under-18s must have a ticket and be supervised in the venue by an adult at all times.
Bar facilities, hot food and snacks will also be available on site during the event along with Wheelchair accessible facilities.
Gig attendees are asked to keep in mind however that this is a fully seated venue and to remain seated during the performance unless moving to and from the toilets/bar area.
The amphitheatre was founded in 1986 and is run entirely by the volunteers. The venue has been grant aided by various bodies such as the Department of the Arts, Culture & Heritage, B.N.S Leader and Kilkenny County Council.
The LYRA gig isn't the only event on the amphitheatre's summer roster with upcoming events including Trad on the rock for Róisín, a night of trad music in memory of Róisín Gilmore.
Paul Brady is also billed to graced the roman inspired stage, playing alongside Bill Shanley and Steve Fletcher on August 31.
