Hannon in number one bid
Dr. Who fans are plotting to get Neil Hannon to the top of the UK charts.
Yup, a number of Timelord supporting sites are urging people to download the song – ‘Love Don’t Roam’ – that Hannon penned for the sci-fi show’s Christmas special from iTunes.
“You have your mission should you choose to accept it,” say the folk from gallifreyone.com. “Please feel free to go forth and do your bit.”
Fans desperate for fresh product should also pick up a copy of the new Duke Special single, ‘Freewheel’, which features a Neil-assisted version of ‘Drink To Me Only With Thine Eyes’ on the flip.
Recorded shortly before Christmas, the lyrics were written in 1616 by Ben Johnson and had the music added 150 years later.
