Gov’t Mule Announce Dublin Date for 2017
US rockers Gov’t Mule have announced a show in The Academy in Dublin on October 22 2017 following the release of their latest album ‘Revolution Come... Revolution Go” set to be released on Fantasy Records on June 9.
Their tenth full-length studio album boasts a wide variety of influences, from rock to blues, soul and jazz. According to vocalist and guitarist Warren Haynes, the album covers a wide range of topics but ultimately starts and ends as a rock ‘n’ roll record.
“Blues, funk, and soul are a part of what we do. In the late ‘60s and early ‘70s, the umbrella of rock music has room for so many different stylistic approaches – bands that were worlds apart were still considered ‘rock’ bands. We’ve always taken a cue from that. And although I’ve said it previously about other Gov’t Mule releases, this is probably the most diverse record we’ve ever made”, the Grammy Award-winning vocalist said regarding the new album.
Tickets for the gig are priced at €35 including booking fee and will be available from www.ticketmaster.ie on May 12 – Over 18s only, ID required.
