Get your music video made for free!
Now in its third year, Hot Press is pleased to announce a nationwide search for Irish music talent to have a music video directed and produced - for free - by film students from the illustrious Tisch School of Performing Arts at New York University.
Winners will have an opportunity to collaborate with undergraduate film students as part of their music video production course that includes creative input, production, direction and editing of your own professional music video clip right here in Ireland.
Last year the competition was a resounding success with current chart stormers Republic of Loose being one of the chosen acts to have their video made and shown on music shows and stations across the globe.
Other acts who are now lit up in celluloid at the hands of Tisch students include: La Rocca, Halite, Alphastates, Juno Falls and many more.
Entry is simple and the potential benefits limitless, for those budding young artists out there. To apply or nominate someone, all you need to do is:
1. Submit a demo recording of the track(s) you believe deserves to have a music video.
2. Send a picture of the applicant-band/artist
3.Give us a brief biography in no more than 250 words-your musical direction, your history and why you think we should produce a music video for your track.
Closing date for entries is 19 September (last post). Entries must be sent to Do you have the Music, Hot Press, 13 Trinity St, Dublin 2.
