Garage Gig - sundogs
The band are very versatile musicians and at full throttle, the singer has a voice like Eddie Vedder’s
They have the look and the attitude of a metal band, but The Sundogs are bravely doing something just a little different. Or quite a lot different actually, because, I suppose if successfully incorporating blues and swing signatures into a harder rock sound was that easy, more people would be doing it.
The band are very versatile musicians and at full throttle, the singer has a voice like Eddie Vedder’s, but with the ability to apply it more gently to fit the various styles. I wouldn’t say the crowd was entirely comfortable with The Sundogs’ bossa nova number, but it certainly got my hips swinging.
