Foreigner announce new acoustic show in 3Olympia Theatre
The band will perform acoustic versions of their greatest hits.
Foreigner have announced an acoustic show in the 3Olympia Theatre on April 12, 2027. The British-American band will be joined by special guest Billy Lockett.
They will be performing acoustic versions of their best-known songs including 'Waiting For A Girl Like You', 'Cold as Ice', and 'Feels Like The First Time.'
The band last performed in Ireland at the 3Arena on May 10, 2022, as part of their Greatest Hits tour.
Foreigner initially formed in 1976, releasing hit albums such as Agent Provocateur in 1985. The album produced the global No. 1 hit 'I Want To Know What Love Is.'
The band's founder, Mick Jones, reformed the band following a brief hiatus in 2002. For the acoustic show, their lineup includes lead singer Luis Carlos Maldonado, bassist Jeff Pilson, Michael Bluestein on keyboards, and guitarist Bruce Watson.
Foreigner have enjoyed consistent chart success in the 50 years they have been active.They were recently ranked among the top 40 of best-selling musical artists of all time.
