Florence + the Machine Celebrates 10th Anniversary of Debut Album Lungs with Rerelease and Bonus Material
Their debut album, Lungs, was released on July 3, 2009.
After 10 years, Florence + the Machine's debut record Lungs is still a staple of indie rock-pop today. For its 10th anniversary, the album gets a rerelease, including lots of previously unseen bonus material.
As of August 16, Lungs is available in a special coloured vinyl edition as well as in cassette form. A deluxe box set with an extra LP of bonus material, postcards and pictures from that era is also ready to pre-order now.
The bonus LP will feature previously unreleased demo tracks, an acoustic version of 'My Boy Builds Coffins', a recording of the Beatles cover 'Oh! Darling' Live at Abbey Road and other rare Florence + the Machine songs. Demo versions of 'Donkey Kosh' and 'My Best Dress' are already available on streaming platforms.
Florence + the Machine is headlining this year's Electric Picnic, which takes place from August 30 to September 1.
